[POLL] Upcoming weeknight event - what do you want to play?
« on: September 22, 2017, 02:28:32 PM »
Hey all, we're looking to run a week night event  from about mid-october to thanksgiving (about 6 weeks) and I wanted to poll the folks here about what kind of event they'd like to participate in. (Select as many as you want)

The concept is to do something small that doesn't interfere with other games or tournament practice etc etc.  The club can provide access to the campaign rules for any of the options so don't feel like you need to buy a bunch of books to participate.  I've also polled folks who don't frequent the forums so the vote here will not be definitive.

Some more details about each option:
Shadow Wars: Armageddon - a 10-man covert scout team battle in the depths of a ruined hive planet.  Requires at most 15 models unless you play Orks.  Uses it's own ruleset, which we can provide.  First player to score 15 Promethium wins or we call it at 6 weeks.

Age of Sigmar Skirmish - Similar to SW:A but with sigmar.  Uses the same old age of sigmar core rules but it's a 8-15 model team where every model is it's own unit.

Warhammer 40k Slow grow - a league or loose narrative campaign focused on growing small armies up to 1000 points.  This will be VERY homebrew, but happy to throw something together if that's what the cool kids want.

Age of Sigmar slow grow/path to glory - Sigmar's own pre-baked slow grow campaign, your choices of heros dictate which units you can get access too, random tables for all the new armies and we can homebrew something for "legacy" armies.
