AoS Event Saturday 7/30/16
« on: July 26, 2016, 08:12:27 PM »
I know Sean mentioned 1k points and Saturday at 5:00. I was wondering if we had any more concrete plans for game time limits and number of matches. Just trying to plan out my Saturday evening.

We are indeed hosting a small Age of Sigmar tournament Saturday, July 30th starting at 5pm.

We will be going with Matched Play rules detailed in the new Age of Sigmar General's Handbook.

1000 points per side, 2-Round Tournament, $10 entry fee.

If anyone needs the points values for their troops, please shoot me a PM and I will get them to you.

How long is it estimated to last? I might swing by.

Sean, can I borrow your book and throw together a list real quick before the event? I'll bring a lot of models that look like they should be around 1000 points.

Thanks for running it Sean! And for all the print outs too. And thanks to Anthony and Bob for some fun games!

I gotta say, now that there points for everything, I don't hate AOS Sigmar as much as I used to. It's still a silly game, but there's fun to be had. I'd be down for a warband campaign or something along those lines if other people were interested.

I wasn't big on fantasy because it felt like a more complicated version of 40k. Now that 40k is more complicated, AoS is nice for how rules-lite it is. I'm up for more games as well.
I really have no idea what I'm doing.

Yeah, i've played it a few times, and it gives me the feeling of a less complex version of Warmahordes.
